Today, we did silent reading in Mrs. Johnson's room.  Some people went to the library.  We read a book called Marvelous Mammals and then worked some riddles about them and what they ate.  We also read a poetry book called Animal Tracks.  We started a timed reading passage about apples.  Everyone didn't get finished, though.  Some people did AR.  We also played Sparkle before our spelling test.  We also took a grammar test.


In math today, we reviewed addition and subtraction for Tuesday's test.  WE ARE READY because we are so smart.  We also finished up our study on birds by reading Molly the Owl, a book about barn owls named Molly and MaGee.  They were two of Mrs. Bruno's favorite animals to watch on an animal cam!!!!

WHOO HOO! Today was Super Bowl of Math Day!  We had great fun making our brains grow bigger with math problems about the Super Bowl!!  Thanks to all of the parents who made it possible!!!!
