Happy Tuesday! Mrs. Johnson's class came over, and we did Bedtime Math. We also watched two Brainpop videos about fractions. We went to the computer lab and wrote a question for Julie Scardina on Socrative. We also did U.3 on IXL. Mrs. Bruno was VERY pleased with our grades on this skill about fractions!! :) When we returned to the room, we did Math Magician and discussed ancestors and immigrants. Our homework tonight is to find out where our ancestors came from to the US.

Monday, 3-11

What a gross, rainy day. However, Mrs. Bruno is glad to be back at school. She was tired of being in the bed sick!!!! It's nice to be back to a routine!!! This morning, we worked on cursive handwriting. We only have about four more letters to go before we can begin writing our spelling words in cursive. In math, we began learning about fractions. We now know that the MORE times you cut something up, the smaller the piece you receive. We also learned the vocabulary words numerator and denominator. We'll continue using fractions this week. In science, we reviewed for tomorrow's animals quiz. We had a special this morning, and now we're eating snack. We'll head to Mrs. Johnson's room in a few minutes. Sadly, we'll have to have indoor recess today!!! :(

It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!

Happy Friday to you! When Mrs. Johnson's class came over we learned three letters in cursive handwriting. We made a butterfly and read a Dr. Seuss butterfly book. We did some Dr. Seuss activities. We graphed colored goldfish, and then ate them, of course! We drew Thing 1 and Thing 2. We saw "The Sneetches" video and tried to play on Seussville. I'm thinking that every other child in America was also trying to play on Seussville because we had a very difficult time. We had snack and headed to Mrs. Johnson's room!
