Today our class is going to start geometry and we are going to have fun. We also did storyboards From feild to market.

MRS. BRUNO'S NOTES: We've really worked hard on our "field to market" projects. The children have more of an idea what it takes to get a good from its rawest state to the store shelf.

We began a geometry unit by talking about circles, squares, and rectangles. We took a "geometry walk" to see all of the every-day shapes we could find in our building.

We are doing this thing with this book.I love to read books it is fun.yeastrday we got a day off. I like when we get a day out of school and I like it when we get to go to school. To day at PE we did baskitball it was so fun.this week we been talking about money I have been geting good at it.

MRS. BRUNO'S NOTES: The children were FABULOUS today. We accomplished a great deal. They're doing well earning their money for their behavior. We have lots of kids ready to "buy" a prize. It's really teaching them to use money and how to make choices about what they want or need. I can't wait to see how much they grow!!!!

by: Makenzie Today we went to P.E. And are class went to the fitness arcade while Mrs.Swanns class was jugling. And we are about to start reading.Because we have to take the same exact test as we did at the begining of the year. But this time we will do better on it.And this time that we take this test we will know most of are vocab. I just took to tests on reading.And last reading test was about rain forests and did you know that rain forests have 70 inches of rain a year WOW.Isint that a lot.I loved studying rainforests. I loved the vidio that Mrs.Bruno brout.I really enjoyed the vidio. I really like to be in Mrs. Brunos class this year she is the best teacher in the world.


And now i am back to bloging. I have hada very good day and also i am very happy that i have Mrs.Bruno as my second grade teacher.

MRS. BRUNO'S NOTES: What a strange few days back we've had. Our plan for Wednesday and Thursday was to do our soils science unit all day. We accomplished that Wednesday, but yesterday was a different story. The kids learned alot, but I wish we'd had a little more time to finish up our science lessons. We also got to play in the snow yesterday. It was fun, but also educational. We used black construction paper to catch and observe snowflakes. They DIDN'T look like what we predicted they would.

Today, we tried to get back into the swing of things with a normal day, but our late arrival affected that a little. We should be back in full swing by Monday! It's time to get back to the grind!!!!
