11/4/14

by: Molly Brown

Today Paine Primary singers went to the music room. In Mrs.Johnons room we got our play parts. We checked over math 4 today. In Mrs. Johnsons room we made sheets what were thankful for.We did a phonics sheet. We read a weekly reader. Some of us got to go to Mrs Sheperds table.

What an exciting day today was. . . play parts were assigned. Our parents got emails about what our costumes would lool like. We can't wait for our play!

In math, we continued to work on subtraction with regrouping. It seems to be going well. We're working with two-digit numbers right now, but we'll move on to three-digit numbers soon! :) We also did a Colonial word problem and discussed what our country looked like hundreds of years ago, before Europeans settled the land. We discussed the importance of Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus as explorers.
