We checked out new book club books. We also did silent reading. We played Sparkle right before we took our spelling test. We finished our Mercy Watson book today, too. We looked up the word folly in the dictionary, too.
UAB had a special assembly for us today called "Kids on the Block." It was about showing good character and how to handle certain situations that may happen to us.
In math, we worked independently on arrays in rows and columns while people took their STAR Math tests. Then, Mrs. Bruno printed our STAR scores for us, and we graphed them on our STAR data chart. This is something we'll be doing in third grade, so we got a jumpstart on learning to do it. Some of us have been doing it for weeks with Mrs. Brumlow!
