Unfortunately, things were so crazy yesterday that we did not have the opportunity to blog.  Yesterday, we read "Dogs" in our blue basals. We also got new spelling words.  We practiced counting money and discussed our Super Bowl math problems.

Today, we read our story again and prepared for tomorrow's test.  We read nonfiction books about invertebrates and did a response sheet.  We counted money and played "I Have . . . Who Has?"  Which class will have the fastest time in that game??????  We also created a classification chart about the world around us.

Our special is library today.

this morning we did a gramer sheet.We played sparkel.We took a spelling test.Some of us went to libary.We are almost finished with our project.Today is friday!We have a math test today.Were doing center today.It won't stop raining!!!Evan is good citizin!It mite snow at midnite!Were going to computer!

Our organisms arrived this morning.  We can't wait to get them into their new habitats!!!!  We did great math centers today, including learning a new version of Go Fish for math!  HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

We had specail visoters in mrs.Johnsons room.We are going to the computer lab.We are making a Turairium and a Aquairium.We don't have a specail today.

We started our new science module today by building terrariums and aquariums.  Our organims arrive tomorrow!  YIPPEE!!!  (Actually, not 100% yippee . . . I really don't like the millipedes we'll be observing!  They gross me out!)

we did a sheet that we  put our spelling words in abc order. we did centers. we did our reading logs. we are learnig  about similes. we read about the veneis flytrap.we did not go to the liberry.

We started a project this morning to combine our study of word problems and money with the upcoming Super Bowl.  We'll make an Aurasma to complete this project and hope to have it ready in time for the Super Bowl of Math, where we'll do Super Bowl-themed math centers.  After working a money math problem this morning, we participated in a Tree Pantomime to show the life cycle of a tree.  We also watched a Sid the Science Kid clip about trees!
