We did our spelling words and sentanes on dry earse bords and most of our class got slimed by Mrs. Johnson.We did our reading log and poetry.We are going to art today.Tommarow is our Valentine day party.We are going to learn about birds today.We are going to work on our hidden pictures today.We are going to do a word problem today.We get to shop tommarow if mrs.Ray is back.Some of our fish died.

We took a reading test today.Its almost Valintinesday!Our class did some poetry.Friday is our Valentines day party.This mornig we wachted a video of  Mrs. Bruno holding a sting ray and a sea turtle.Our fish are still alive.We wrote a poem.

Today, we continued work on our coordinate graphs.  We also completed word problems about sea turtles, which are in the next animal group we're discussing . . . reptiles.  We'll read "One Tiny Turtle" and watch "Saving a Species:  Sea Turtles" today.

We finished up our study of mammals today.  We've had lots of fun looking at some of my favorite mammals.  We began a coordinate graph in math.  It is a hidden picture of an animal, and everyone has different pictures.  When we've completed the hidden picture coordinate graphs, we'll make one bar graph of the number of animals in the coordinate graphs and a separate bar graph to categorize the types of animals in the graphs (mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish, or insect).

What a crazy, busy, and fun day we're having.  We didn't have time for a student to blog because of such a strange schedule today.  I did, however, want to share what a great Super Bowl of Math we had today.  Thanks to all the parents who came to play math games with us.  Have fun watching the game this weekend!!!
