Happy Wednesday! For morning work, we did condensation word problems, then checked them with Mrs. Johnson's. While they were in here, we learned how to play Kakooma on the iPad and "It All Adds Up" math game.
When we began math, we did Math Magician and learned a new strategy. We've conquered all those silly 9s problems by using the "9 Shortcut." We're ready for any 9s problem you throw at us!!! : ) We branched a couple of problems before moving on to science. After today's science lesson, we're all ready to be weather boys and weather girls!!!! Watch out, James Spann!!! We now know the names of meteorlogists' tools and how to use them!!!!
We're sad that we can't go to the playground today, but we're excited about the new shades we'll be getting. We may go to the courtyard, or we may play the Wii!

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had an exciting Wednesday! Congratulations on conquering those pesky 9's. They don't stand a chance against all you oustanding Mathematicians! Keep up the good work on all your science and weather knowledge, Al Roker will retire someday and we might be watching one of you on the Today show!

Good afternoon friends!! Kakooma and Math Magician on the iPad sound exciting and fun. You are all going to be so good at using all of this technology that Mrs. Bruno is teaching you about. I have no double that you will be ready for the 3rd grade.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear about the shades on the playground. In your next blog post, please fill me in on what they look like, how big they are and if they are helpful with keeping you cool! I don't come to the school that often and I haven't seen them yet!
